While comedy may be new to the Cobblestone District, it is certainly not new to Buffalo. After all, when a city is fortunate enough to have a seasoned comedy group such as The Eclectic Improv Company, with well over 400 interactive improvisational performances under its belt, and a half-decade run at a theater such as Shea’s… well, there’s only one place to go from there – to Helium, the city’s premiere comedy club!
On Thursday, April 4th at 8:00 PM, The Eclectic Improv Company will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary, and they’re going to make a big splash in the process. For those who have come to know and love the group’s monthly short-form improv-comedy show, “Eclectic Boogaloo!”, then this is a show that should not be missed.
Whether you’re new to the local comedy scene, or looking to get your feet wet, this is your chance to visit a state of the art venue, in a historic part of the city, while experiencing the best of Buffalo’s improv comedy.
Helium Comedy Club is located at 30 Mississippi St, in Buffalo’s Cobblestone District. $15.00 tickets are available at Helium’s Box Office (716-853-1211).
