As we watch the local music scene reinvent itself, with music promoters and venues coming together to create a new and invigorating live music landscape, we should take note of all of the businesses and establishments that are contributing to the greater cause. One venue that has come onto the scene is Allentown Music Too, which is mostly known for the wide variety of albums that it stocks (see more). But the music shop also attracts its fare share of music performances, both indoors and outdoors, as any good music shop should. You can check out some of the past appearances on their Facebook page, or you can visit For the Music Productions to to see an even broader selection of live acts throughout the city.
Whatever the case may be, it’s good to see musicians setting up outside of the clubs, where a broader (and younger) audience is able to see a show for just a few bucks and away from a bar. Supporting diverse settings such as this helps to give the musicians needed exposure, while bringing music-lovers into an independent shop that they might not have normally supported.
