WorldQuest 2013

The International Institute of Buffalo (IIB) is hosting a big fundraiser called WorldQuest 2013 on Thursday, May 9 at 5:30pm. The event is designed as “a global knowledge quiz night” and is being held at the Montante Cultural Center. According to Erin St. John Kelly, “Funds raised benefit the (IIB) International Institute of Buffalo – which we have to thank when we eat at Sun Authentic Burmese and Thai Cuisines, Niagara Seafood, Shish Kebab Express, or Lucy Ethiopian, or shop for unique stuff at the West Side Bazaar.”
Now The International Institute is looking for teams that are interested in competing in WorldQuest 2013. Test your knowledge of geography and impress your friends with your worldly wisdom. “We have prizes, food, cheap cash bar, local celeb judges like Christa Glennie Seychew,” said Erin. “Have fun, do good and show what you know. Come alone or bring a team of six to this quiz night of world trivia. Topics include travel, history, geography, arts and FOOD. WorldQuest is actually a high school game that the IIB does for schools in Western New York. The IIB hopes to expand global knowledge to middle schools next.”
