What’s Your Wish for 2013

Now that we taken a look at WCP’s Downtown Development Recap for 2012, it’s time to look forward to the new year. In the past we have asked readers what it is that they would like to see happen in the development world, so that some can predict while others can dream.

Throw your hat into the ring and let us know what you would like to see come to fruition in this coming year. Is there a building that you would like to see renovated? A parking lot that you would like to see built upon? A street that needs infrastructure improvements? Maybe it’s a project that fell through the cracks? Big or small, let’s hear what you’ve got.
As for me? This year I would like to see a facade improvement on the Main Place Mall (see more). For years we’ve been waiting for some sort of renewal of Main Street, and we’re finally starting to see the fruits of the labor. A new direction for that giant swath of property would be a huge boost to the street and a welcome aesthetic improvement for downtown, not to mention the potential of the retail component.
