Chez Ann first opened a location in the city six years ago at the corner of Chippewa and Delaware. Now the 26 year old salon has picked up and moved just down the street (on Delaware) in order to almost double in size.
The salon has moved into a 1500 square foot space that is highly visible from the street and provides the eight stylists additional room while offering customers a bevy of new services. Those services include organic spray tanning, peels, pore cleansing treatments, glow facials, massages, body wraps, scrubs, body wax, sugaring, nails and professional make-up. Along with Bumble and Bumble and Oribe lines, Chez Ann is the only salon in the city to carry the Susan Ciminelli brand of products.
In order to open the new location, the entire commercial space needed to be gutted and rebuilt. EB Iron Works was brought in to design and fabricate the custom stylist stations, and two treatment rooms were incorporated into the mix, as was a dedicated pedicure station and a make-up station. Carmina Wood Morris’ U+Interiors team lead by Pamela Timby and Lee Schlatterer were interior designers.
Chez Ann is now a full service salon and day spa, ideally located close to the downtown hub as well as Allentown. The business is also located across the street from Uniland’s 285 building, which should make office workers in the building happy to have the above-mentioned services so close to work.
To see Chez Ann nearly double in size says a lot about the company’s belief that the area is in need of upscale salon and spa services. It’s nice to see this vibrant salon open in what was formerly a long-vacant space filled with outdated office cubicles.
