Buffalo Fall Fashions First

By Steven Bales:
Fashion is making its impact on New York State all during the month of September. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC kicked off on September 5th 2012 and ended September 13th 2012. Then, we get a few days off and come back to Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week on September 20th to the 27th. To close the month with new fashion styles is the Fashion Week of Rochester from the 27th to the 30th of September. Many Buffalonians were in NYC this past week experiencing the new Spring/Summer collections of world-renowned designers – if you know some of these individuals, be sure to follow their Twitter feeds for new photos or their Facebook pages as well.
Fashion in Buffalo has been a hot topic for the past few years. I truly believe that Buffalo is becoming a very fashionable place to live and to do business. If you don’t believe me, you have to go check out the Elmwood strip this week and see all the new fall fashions that have just been added to the racks. The Galleria Mall has been a great place to shop, but the local boutiques will keep you fashionable and exclusive the next time you decide to go out for the night. Ladies will find great buys at boutiques like Ms Eye Candy, Anna Grace, Sai-One and Lotion & Potions. Some other great specialty boutiques are Spoiled Rotten and Everything Elmwood for all your gift item shopping.
We cannot forget about the trendy men in the city. For that we have Urban Threads and Get Dressed. Urban Threads caters to the fashion forward man or woman, awesome designer names and exclusive apparel you will not find anywhere else in Greater Buffalo. Get Dressed is an awesome men’s shop at Elmwood and Lancaster with amazing Italian suits, ¾ length jackets, sport coats, scarves and ties at unbeatable prices.
If you have been craving a trip to NYC to shop for the latest Fall fashions, check out your local shops first and see what they have to offer!
