Preservation Buffalo Niagara
is looking for ideas for workshops, demonstrations, field trips, tours and
education sessions for Preservation Plus. Preservation Plus, a week long
conference focused on the intersection of preservation, urban planning,
sustainability and community revitalization, will take place September 24th –
28th.
Similar in style to last
years National Trust Conference, Preservation Plus will consist of field and
education sessions that will highlight current local programs, successful
projects, local historic assets and local, state, & national trends, in
addition to other content that aids in preserving and restoring our region’s
historic built environment. Proposal topics are encouraged to be focused on at
least one of the following themes: Historic Preservation, Urban Planning,
Sustainability or Community Revitalization.
If you’re interested, please
fill out the Proposal Application by the submission deadline Monday, August
13th at 5:00pm ET. You are welcome to submit multiple proposals but please
