As you may know by now, Saturday will be the first day that we are conducting a retro, vintage, antique market at the corner of Elmwood and West Ferry (parking lot of Parish Commons). So far we have lined up a stellar group of collectors and sellers who have all, at one point or another, made names for themselves for their unique eyes for for vintage and retro styles. Both guys and girls vintage apparel will be on-hand, as will home accessories and antiques. The market will run for the better part of the day starting at 10am, and we’re hoping that you hop on a bike or walk on over to check out the merchandise.
I was first inspired to create a ‘flea market’ after visiting the old Chelsea Flea market back in the day. Each time I would visit New York City I made sure that I stopped by to see all of the incredible wonders that were displayed. Upon arriving back to Buffalo I always missed having a market to walk to… that’s why we’re doing this and that’s why we would love the support (of you stopping by). The market is called The Peddler – click here to see more – we have a Facebook page that we have set up so that you can track the progress. If you’re interested in being a vendor in the future, send me an email and tell me what sort of ‘finds’ you have to sell.
