Good times, great food, and charity go hand-in-hand in Buffalo and later this month you can be part of the fun. The Altamont Program on Wyoming Avenue is hosting a fundraiser with all proceeds going to help the Homeless U.S. Veterans that are staying at the Altamont facility and the remodeling of the kitchen in the building. The
Altamont facility is located in the former rectory and convent of St. Matthew’s Church on the city’s east side.
The event takes place on
June 25th at Lagerhaus 95 located at 95 Perry, on the corner of
Mississippi in the historic Cobblestone District. It runs from 6pm to 9pm and
tickets are twenty-five dollars. Laherhaus 95 is owned by Sam Savarino who has
graciously donated the space for the fundraiser. Eric Paul, the director of the
Altamont program, is thankful for Savarino’s aid and says he’s a “Helluva Guy”
for helping out.
