Art Comes Alive @ The Albright-Knox

Hang on… there are a couple more events coming our way this weekend including the Saturday Artisan Market at the Central Wharf and Art Alive at the Albright-Knox. It always amazes me just how much work goes into every Art Alive piece. If you’ve never taken the time to attend Art Alive, it’s worth the trip in so many ways. First of all, the spirit of the event is remarkable. Then there’s the impressive amount of planning and effort that goes into each interactive work. Finally, there’s the live component that the members of the respective installations must fulfill. This is no easy task, but the results are astounding. There is still one more piece of the artistic puzzle that makes each of the works of art shine, and that’s you the observer. It’s up to you to come out and support the efforts of all of those who spend the time and energy to pull off such awesome accomplishments.
