Help Buffalo-Niagara Win The Social Media Tourism Symposium

By Jessica Edwards:
What do Buffalonians love more than competition? More competition. There is a competition underway, and your vote will help to deliver a knock out punch to El Paso. Buffalo-Niagara is already leading in votes… let’s keep it that way.
In the spirit of March Madness, there is a bracket-style contest for cities to duke it out by competing for votes. The city that advances through each round, and eventually is deemed the winner will become the host city for the Social Media Tourism Symposium this coming November. It’s a great opportunity to spread the Buffalo love, and gain full access to the many new tools and advancements in social media that will better market our region.
We already beat Madison, WI to get to this round. Buffalo-Niagara has now entered the second round (a.k.a. “Elite Eight”), and is up against El Paso, Texas. With just a click of your mouse on the Facebook page (no additional registration required), you can vote for Buffalo, and guarantee “Final Four” status. It’s a close call for now, but let’s put that competitive spirit to good use. While you’re on the Facebook page, you can also leave a comment if you want. Be sure to make it a good one…
Go Bills! Go Sabres! GO BUFFALO! Go get the Social Media Tourism Symposium!
