There are all sorts of ways to raise money for charitable causes, though some are yummier than others. Dining Out for Life is celebrating its 10 year anniversary, and in that time cities all over the country have raised millions of dollars to fight AIDS. In 2011 3,001 restaurants in 52 cities raised $3.4 million for HIV/AIDS. Each person that decided to dine out on the designated night helped to contribute to the staggering number. This year will be no different. On Tuesday April 24, 2012 restaurants from all over Greater Buffalo will donate a portion the your total bill to Evergreen Health Services (formerly AIDS Community Services of WNY, Inc.) It’s that easy. Pick your favorite participating restaurant and invite friends and family to join you for a nice dinner. Evergreen Health Services will take care of the rest. Here are the details:
Evergreen Health Services has been on the front line, fighting HIV/AIDS while providing services to those living with the disease since 1983, and will continue to be there until AIDS is no more. How does it work? Participating restaurants donate 25% or more of the cost of your meal to the fight against HIV/AIDS. All you have to donate is your appetite.
Participating in Dining Out for Life is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Make plans to dine out on Tuesday, April 24 for breakfast, lunch, dinner or more.
