Lloyd Taco Truck(s): You Can Help Get Another Lloyd Rolling

Everyone knows Lloyd Taco Truck. And everyone loves Lloyd Taco truck.

They pioneered the food truck movement in Buffalo. They helped shape reasonable food truck laws which allow trucks to co-exist with brick-and-mortar restaurants.
The only problem with Lloyd – there’s just one.
But we can all help solve that problem.
Lloyd has just announced a Kickstarter project to raise enough money to buy and launch a second Lloyd taco truck. Lloyd Dos. Kickstarter, if you’re not familiar, is a crowd-sourced fundraising tool that has helped people (and businesses) raise more than $150 million last year. Lloyd just needs $12,500 to get Lloyd Dos rolling.
From their Kickstarter page
It’s our mission to expand our quest to bring you fresh eats every single day, we are grateful that you love our tasty takes on traditional tacos and burritos. We hate that we can’t satisfy your Lloyd craving more often, so we ask that you kindly support the cause and pledge to our project.
We are using Kickstarter as a vehicle to help us mobilize our customers into this concerted effort. It will allow us to pool together the funds needed for the down payment of our second truck, Lloyd Dos. Your generosity will not go unnoticed! You will be handsomely rewarded for your participation. We sincerely appreciate your help.

You can pledge as little as $1. But larger pledges get you rewards. A $10 gift gets Lloyd bumper stick and a free taco. $20 gets you a taco, sticker and bottle of Rocket Sauce. $500 gets you a Lloyd speed pass which means you never have to wait in a Lloyd line again. A generous $1,000 donation gets you 52 free burritos AND a day on the Lloyd truck.
And if you really want to be a boss, you can donate $2,000 and Lloyd will come to your house or business and cater a party for up to 50 guests with a menu you select.
So if you love Lloyd tacos, head over to Kickstarter and pledge some money. Buffalo is a better place with more Lloyds rolling around.
