Ricotta & Visco’s future home is taking shape at the corner of Main and Mohawk streets downtown. The law firm is redeveloping the long-vacant historic building for office use at a cost of $1.5 million. It will move from leased space in Main Placer Tower when the project is finished this summer.
The 11,440 sq.ft. building was purchased by Ricotta & Visco last March. According to project architect Dave Sutton of Dean Sutton Architects, the building interior will have a glass elevator, four story atrium and exposed brick walls.
The old pink paint on the building’s exterior is now gone and new windows are being installed. Windows on the second floor fronting Main Street have been enlarged and new windows are being added on the first floor along Mohawk Street.
