As many of us are just starting to kick it into high gear, enjoying winter festivals, skiing and snowboarding (weather permitting), pond hockey tournaments, sledding at Shakespeare Hill, etc., a concert series is waiting in the wings at Delaware Park. For the third year in a row, Music at the Marcy is scheduled, but this year it’s going to be slightly different. Per usual, there will be four bands playing on four consecutive Thursdays starting February 16th. While there will still be great music, food and drinks, this year Olmsted is upping the ante with some special guests in the form of participating craft breweries and Emerging Leaders in the Arts (ELAB).
With the help of Seamus Gallivan from The Good Neighborhood, live art demonstrations by artists at ELAB (FB), some killer music and a whole lot of brewhaha (not to mention my favorite portobello sandwich served up by Magnolia Events), this year’s Music at the Marcy is not to be missed. Doors open at 5:30pm and music kicks off at 6pm. For three hours music/food/beer/art-lovers will be able to explore a picturesque winter at The Marcy. Get ready to break out your dancing shoes. Here’s the music line-up:
