Extras, extras! Looking for 40 disco ducks.

Filmmaker Peter McGennis is looking for some extras for an upcoming shoot for his next film, Queen City. Finding extras for the film’s big disco scene should be an easy lift for Buffalonians since the city is home to the World’s Largest Disco. From Peter:

“We’re looking to get the word out regarding our Queen City 70’s filming with Average White Band next Thursday (September 29) at The Tralf. This is where it all began a couple years ago and, as fate will have it, we are wrapping there. We’re looking for some folks who might dig coming in 70’s attire and being an extra. We need to fill the dance floor for the “Cut The Cake” scene which is appearing in the film. 70’s attire is mandatory. Filming from 2:00 – 4:00 PM so arrive by 1:30 PM. All total, weed 40 extras to cut up the dance floor – best dressed extras will be filmed in close-up to be inserted in scene.”

You heard him Buffalo disco ducks. It’s time to memorialize your moves on the silver screen, so grab your platforms, your tight pants and polyester shirts, throw some gold chains around your neck, tease your hair and hit the dance floor. A post wrap party will follow the shoot. Check out Facebook for news and updates.
