Life revolves around balance. Much of the northeast has endured a long winter and a rainy, crappy spring. “The Bash”, Buffalo’s unofficial start to summer & the festival season took place Friday evening and the timing could not have been better. 4000 attendees deserved impeccable weather, delectable food and a variety of tasty beverages.
I think what’s so special about the occasion is the dynamic gathering of friends, family & co-workers in a cool, distinctive environment, united with the sounds of DJ Setlock and the always charismatic Lance Diamond. The Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross, along with a bevy of volunteers, have been throwing this event for 13 years in order to raise monies that provide vital disaster preparedness, education and response to Western New York communities.
ArtVoice has named this celebration Buffalo’s Best Annual Fundraiser in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011. Next year get militant, escape any funk and join the fun!
