Save the Boobies (help fight breast cancer) is Tonight!

Save the Boobies, a benefit event to support the fight against breast
cancer, is slated to begin this evening at 8pm. Each year the Chippewa
bars all get together to raise money for the cause by offering drink
specials at different locations. This year fourteen bars are
participating by waiving cover charges for anyone willing to donate $10
to the cause – plus there will be plenty of drink specials and a
commemorative mug for all those who participate.

“People in Buffalo know how to have a good time and they are extremely generous,” said Sean Coughlin of Bayou nightclub and one of the organizers of the bar crawl. “‘Save the Boobies gives them a chance to do both and help us support the great work that Sisterhood Wellness Center does on behalf of women who are battling breast cancer.”

The establishments participating in the bar crawl are: Indulge, Barcelona, D’Arcy McGee’s, SoHo, The Buck, Bayou, Sky Bar, City Tavern, Pure, Jack Devine’s, 67 West, The Purple Monkey, Omega, Laughlin’s, Bada Bing and Bottom’s Up. In addition to the Buffalo Entertainment District, sponsors include Labatt, Little Black Dress and Finlandia Vodka. You can make your $10 donation at any of the participating bars and nightclubs.
