Buffalo Beer Week is underway. What does that mean for the average beer drinking Joe? It means that it’s time to put down the Coors and the Bud for a few days in order to try out some of the regional micro brews that have been making it onto the scene as of late. Buffalo Beer Week not only honors the beer drinkers who go out of their way to support the craft beer industry, it also pays tribute to the establishments that continue to carry the signature seasonals and the always flavorful favorites. Try something regional… try something new… try to get to one of the many pubs and restaurants that have joined together to put WNY on the map for its love of all-things-beer!
Beer Weeks have been all the rage in a number of other American cities in past years, so it was only a matter of time before Buffalo jumped on the bandwagon by offering seven days of beer-loving bliss. Check out the complete schedule in order to enjoy all of the activities, ranging from a Beer Camp Tasting to a Buffalo History Brewing Tour and Pub Crawl. Attend the Battle of Lake Erie or take a Craft Beer Challenge. The fun is underway and organizers are attempting to restore longstanding Buffalo traditions through a weeklong beer tribute. Kick off was Fathers Day of course… Cheers!
