On the eve of Earth Day, several local eco-friendly organizations will be joining Mayor Byron Brown in Niagara Square on Thursday, April 21 to celebrate and promote the preservation of our planet.
The fifth annual Enviro-Fair will bring representatives from several local groups who will be gathering to present exhibits and interact with the local community on ways we can improve and sustain the environment. The following organizations will be present at this year’s event:

- Habitat for Humanity ReStore
- ReTree WNY
Natale Builders, developer of the Rivera Greens all-green home community that will soon be coming to Clarence, NY, will be giving out free tree seedlings in re-usable drink tumblers. There will also be free samples of Jamba All-Natural Energy drinks and Re-Tree WNY will be selling re-usuable totes for $2. The funds raised from the tote sales will go toward their volunteer efforts to reforest the local area.
The event will kick off in the square at 11 a.m. The mayor will be giving a speech, followed by the planting of a tree in celebration of Earth Day at 12:15 p.m. The celebration will continue until around 2 p.m. The event will be free to attend and open to the public.
