It didn’t take long for the Dolci space to fill after the longstanding bakery relocated to Grant Street. ReImagine furniture and home accessory store is picking up from an underground (literally) space down the street where they suffered from low visibility and mild foot traffic. The space did give owners, Cortney Morrison-Taylor and Hayley Carrow, the ability to jumpstart the business, but after one year of testing the Elmwood market, the decision was made to head for ‘higher ground’.
The corner of Elmwood and Breckenridge gives ReImagine plenty of visibility, and although Cortney and Hayley will be working with less space, the two have become experts at interior optimization – a trait that should prove beneficial in the move. ReImagine is Elmwood Avenue’s only mid-century furniture and home accessory store. It caters to both the high-end and low-end shoppers by providing a wide range of price points. Whether it’s the college student looking to purchase a small seating vignette for a studio apartment, or the professional looking to stylize his or her office, ReImagine has the ability to outfit anyone looking for non-cookie cutter items.
