A letter from Tony Wilson:
Hiya Buffalo,
It’s been a while. How’s your fall going so far? Mine? Oh, pretty great so far. You know what I really dig about the Queen City? Just because summer has concluded that doesn’t mean that there’s been any slowing down in the number of great things to do. Whether it was exploring new dining establishments during restaurant week, hitting up any of the wide number of halloween themed parties, plus the start of the Sabres and Bills seasons Autumn has been quite the hotbed of activity.
Well the music and creative arts scene in Buffalo isn’t going to (pardon the pun) play second fiddle… and so to help fill our lives with even more options during Autumnal season the Burchfield-Penney Art Center is delivering us RendezBlue.
RendezBlue is part music fest and part creative think tank – a full on creativity explosion for the masses. Activities planned for the 4-day festival that runs from Thursday, November 11th to Sunday the 14th include free concerts, a slam poetry showcase (holla!), assorted panel discussions, and even a watercolor workshop …
I’ll be posting more about the event as we get closer to ‘go time’, but for now I just wanted to catch you up to speed in hopes that you all start spreading the word …
For more information on the event check the cool postcard or visit the official website at www.rendezblue.org.
