Winter is around the corner, is your bike ready for the sleet, snow, ice and salt? If you answered no, then the place you need to be is the Green Options Buffalo Winter Bike Workshop!
For anyone who has wanted to bike in the snow, Green Options Buffalo has dreamed up a workshop that is geared towards the winter cyclist. Our awesome instructors will be available to help you refurbish a used bicycle and customize it for use during the winter. You can expect to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining your winter bike, as well as a few safety tips from our veterans. It’s also a chance to hang out with people whom you might otherwise think of as insane… the bike riders who are fearless when it comes to cold temperatures and ice caked roads. But… if you’re gonna get into the recreation when the snow flies, then you better be prepared for what’s in store.
Winterize your own bike or select one of our fine bicycles to fix up for yourself. The workshop will consist of two sessions at our Community Workshop (98 Colvin Ave.) No prior knowledge is needed, experienced mechanics, supplies, tools and bikes will be provided. If interested, RSVP by November 13th.
