The Buffalo Museum of Science is currently hosting seven of the University at Buffalo’s Engineering clubs for their Explore and Inspire Expo. The exhibit will be taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature multiple educational demonstrations.
The American Institute of Chemical Engineers will be doing a demonstration on liquid nitrogen ice cream. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers will be doing tracker and hovercraft demonstrations. The Engineers Without Borders will be showcasing “marshmallow power.” The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers will be showing a Jacob’s Ladder and telsa coil. The Robotics club will be doing demonstrations with robots. Students for the Exploration and Development of Space will be showing rocket balloons and crater making. Lastly, the Association of Computing Machinery will be doing an exhibit on robotic code.
Admission to the event is included with the price of general museum admission. General ticket prices have been reduced by $2 per person from now through October 22. Adults will be $6, seniors will be $5, children ages 2-17 and those with a military ID will be $4 and children under the age of 2 will have free admission. Museum members will also have free entry.
