From The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy:
This holiday season the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is converting the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park into a wondrous winter wonderland. The Lunch Box Café will be serving up warm holiday treats in front of a roaring fire! In addition to the cosmetic make over, the Agissiz Circle entrance to Jewett Parkway will be decked out with a stunning theatrical and energy efficient holiday light display. We’ll also have carriage rides through the park. The Conservancy is currently seeking local chorale and instrumental groups to perform at the lodge during our ongoing “Olmsted Nights Winter Lights” festival this December & January. Participating groups would be asked to perform 1 or 2 hours of Christmas/Holiday themed music. If interested please contact the Conservancy at 716-838-1249 ext 33 or email email@example.com.
We’re also looking for bands! The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is now accepting demo CDs, press kits, and other sample materials from local bands in consideration as performers for our Music @ the Marcy Concert Series to take place this winter. Materials should be submitted to
Music @ the Marcy
84 Parkside Avenue
Buffalo, NY 14214
Links and/or downloads should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Bands should have at least 2 forty-five minute sets of prepared material and have professional gear.
