Looking for some action tonight? Then head down to Soundlab and catch Capillary Action. Capillary Action is made up of mates from Chicago, Philly, and Minneapolis (represent) that have banded together for their affinity for the unusual.
They’re described as a “chaotic, all acoustic, avant-pop” group, and honestly I wouldn’t know any better way to put it. Their mishmash of tempo and eclectic mix of instrumentation make their songs feel like an exhilarating trek across a musical soundscape. A trek that has caught the eyes and ears of fellow freak folkers, and garnered opening slots for notable likewise acts such as Beirut, Dirty Projectors, and Les Claypool.
If you’re looking for some tunes that’ll keep you on your toes then get down to Soundlab tonight! Tickets are $7 and All Them Witches opens. Rock and roll Buffalo. That could totally be my mascot. Poncho, the rock and roll buffalo. Awesome.
