Call for Volunteers Who Love Music and MiA

This just in from Seamus Gallivan:

We’re spending most of our time getting ready for the amazing 8th annual MiA festival this weekend, but we’ve got a lot of other things happening too. We’re looking for a volunteer who can help out tonight at the Sportsmen’s Tavern 7pm-10pm. You’ll see a free concert and do your good deed all at once. Here are the details for tonight’s show and the rest of the series. Each show is Wednesday, 7-10pm. The shows are:

September 8th – Vinnie DeRosa (Vitamin D), Brad Gower (Photos of Wagons), Andrew Moore (On the Sly)
September 15th – Bob Buckley (Free Henry!), Dave Cavos (Bearhunter), Brian Wheat
September 22nd – Dee Adams, Paul Todaro (Skiffle Minstrels), Alan Whitney
September 29th – John Lombardo (John & Mary, 10,000 Maniacs), Grace Stumberg, Zak Ward (Son of the Sun)

What you would be doing: Selling raffle tickets to benefit Music is Art!
