Fun Family Outing Sunday @BECHS

This Sunday, grab the kids and head on over to BECHS for some summer fun. A host of family-oriented activities await you and your munchkins. The day’s schedule includes activities, mini-tours, crafts, games, and of course, a little elbow-rubbing with some history. The standard price of admission is all that’s required, and members and children under 7 are free!

The current Hands on History exhibit is up and running through the end of Sunday, so take advantage of  the opportunity to see a pint-sized Pan-Am Expo, examine different types of writing tools, wind-up some mechanical toys or test out the dance floor.

If the weather is nice, a picnic lunch in the peaceful Japanese Tea Garden located directly behind the museum could make this is an affordable and pleasant way to spend a Sunday with the family.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
