Downtowners will get an extra special treat at noon today in the form of a live music performance at Fountain Plaza. It really doesn’t get any better than this considering the amazing venue and the featured performer(s). Vocalist Mark Weber will be singing the classics from the 1920s-1960s, while his father Joe (drums) and Lou Brehm (piano) accompany him. This is the first in a series of Wednesday at noon performances scheduled to take place on the patio of one of downtown’s newest coffee houses – Coffee Culture.
There is one thing that you should know about Mark Weber. Mark is the most fervent Buffalo supporter that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is about as upbeat as his band (called Uptown), and I can’t think of a better person to lead off yet another concert series in the city. The venue is perfect for listening to a lunchtime performance – thanks to Coffee Culture and all-around Buffalo promoter Giovanni Centurione for throwing the series together and giving us all another reason to enjoy Buffalo.
