Last night’s Artist & Models: Stimulus event had Buffalo’s arts community atwitter. For the last few weeks, speculation on the installations and the other evening entertainment have been the subject of much anticipation and conversation amongst artists, musicians, students and party-goers. So I got to thinking about how fun it might be to develop an installation of our own, per se. This ode to the event would be an online installation where people who attended Artists & Models: Stimulus took part in crafting the piece.
I am going out on a limb here, because of course, we could end up with zero responses, but I gather you’re all pretty adventurous/artistic types, and I know that A&M is a “stimulating” and inspirational event, so why not? If you attended the show, please email us your reviews, comments, suggestions or observances of the event, how it was run, how it flowed, what inspired you, the installations you liked or didn’t’ like, audience or any other aspect, no matter how small. You can also include photos or renderings if you’d like. We will sort through them, mash ’em up, and develop what we hope will be a very cool online installation/review for Monday. I think it will be fun–I hope you do, too.
Please include your name or pseudonym for publication purposes. All pieces should be submitted via email by 6pm on Sunday evening.
