Olympic Towers Auction Set

Another downtown building is heading to auction.  Olympic Towers at 300 Pearl Street is being sold by owner J. E. Robert Cos.  Bidding opens May 17 with a minimum bid set at $1 million.  Commercial real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle and Real Estate Disposition LLC are overseeing the online auction.

DSC_0772.JPGThe 143,000 sq.ft. office and retail complex consists of the 10-story, circa-1902 YMCA building designed by E.B. Green and a modern four-story office building.  The two are connected by a glass atrium that stretches from Pearl to Franklin streets.

Opened in 1988, Olympic Towers was a joint venture of Paul Snyder and Goldome Bank.  The property is currently 76 percent occupied.
