One Night and Seven Churches 2010

To celebrate and reflect on Holy Thursday, Broadway Fillmore Alive (BFA)
will once again present the “One
Night and Seven Churches
” tour. A tradition that began in 2007, this year’s
modern day pilgrimage will be held on April 1st, beginning at 7
PM.

All are invited to participate in this unique event. BFA has
selected 7 churches in Buffalo’s historic Polonia district in which
participants are encourage to not only pray and reflect but absorb the
captivating beauty of each sacred space.

According to BFA co-founder Christopher Byrd, there is
sufficient time to visit all seven churches, as long as you monitor your time
in each church. (Byrd recommends spending 20-30 minutes per church.) All of the
churches are within 2 miles of each other, and will remain open till 11 PM.

Each church will hold Holy Thursday masses at 7 PM, so if you
choose to visit these churches during this time, please be as quiet and
respectful as possible.
