Cornucopia Officially Lands The Golden Cup Café

The Golden Cup Café has officially signed on to a mixed-use development taking shape on the 500-block of Main Street. Developer Roger Trettel has confirmed that the coffee company, currently based at the Tri-Main Building, will be occupying one of the commercial storefront spaces. This is good news for the building, as Trettel anticipates that the business will create an anchor for the rest of the future tenants, many of which may be artistic in nature.

Larry Stitts, founder of the Golden Cup Café, plans on opening a micro-roastery and café. The coffee house would be situated in close proximity to the Genesee Gateway project and the Electric Tower. In February I alluded to a café moving into the Cornucopia building, but at that point a name had not yet been released.
