BRO submission by Kelly of LEFT On Red:
LEFT ON RED, my NYC-based duo, is coming to Buffalo to perform at an event at Babeville on February 12th. The event is called THE CHOCOLATE REVOLUTION and with help from our sponsors, which include the Lexington Co-op, Equal Exchange (fair trade chocolate), Elmwood Arts Festival, Babeville, Righteous Babe Records, and Hallwalls – we are headlining a concert with the theme of promoting fair trade chocolate.
Many people do not know this, but most major chocolate companies source cocoa from Africa where children are trafficked and forced to work under harsh conditions. Our concert, being two days before Valentine’s Day when everyone is purchasing chocolate, will promote and include delicious fair trade chocolate.
The Chocolate Revolution: Open to everyone. Tickets are $8.00 in advance/$10.00 at the door
and are available January 30 through all Tickets.com outlets including Tops Markets, Babeville
box office (M – F, 11am – 5pm), charge by phone 888-223-6000. FREE Admission for children under 13 and unemployed.
