BRO Submission by Sarita:
Salsa for the Soul, 2nd Cup Cafe, Latin Jazz Project, & Sean Charles Apparel are teaming up again to bring you another HOT, Latin dancing event in Buffalo. Salsa con Amor takes place Friday February 12th, 8:30pm-12:30am at 2nd Cup’s beautiful cafe centered in Downtown at 36 Broadway @ Ellicott (the Buehl Building).
With a gorgeously renovated storefront and brand new hard wood floors, this is the perfect location to cozy up, open up and get your groove on for the holiday of love. Partial proceeds of this event will go to Doctors Without Borders, to aid in the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Salsa con Amor is the perfect opportunity to share your love of Latin dance and music with other like-minded people, while reaching out and spreading love to places like Haiti, which are so in need of our support right now.
Come start the night off with us at 8:30pm for a FREE Salsa lesson with me (Sarita), of Buffalo, & Sean Ortiz of NYC, who will be teaching a Beginner Level salsa dance class with some flirty moves mixed in to honor the essence of Valentines Day. Singles welcome as we rotate partners. Latin Jazz Project will begin rocking the night with their heavy Latin swing at 9:30pm. There will be Live dance performances by UB’s Latin Student Association dance group, Alma Nanichi, & Tommy Radon of STORM. Sean Charles Apparel will also be in the house showcasing his HOT Salsa T’s and original designs.
Kat, the owner of 2nd Cup, will be selling juicy, fresh dipped strawberries in all sorts of decadent chocolate flavors, while serving an array of delicious cafe style food and drinks.
Share your love of Latin music, dancing and culture with us at Salsa con Amor!
Salsa con Amor is an 18+ event. Attendees can RSVP at Facebook for $8 admission, or $10 at the door, with part of each sale going toward Doctors Without Borders. Students receive $5 admission with valid ID.
