Merge Fundraiser This Weekend

BRO submission by Sarah Schneider:

Merge is having a two night fundraiser* this weekend to raise money for a lecture about the violence prevention program in Baltimore, which will be held on February 20th.  Tonight (10pm) and Saturday (11pm) we’re having wine tasting/music/comedy night with comedians Rick Matthews, Tyron Maclin, and Mike Jones (photo). Please join us for a night of love and laughs in a movement to stop the violence in our beautiful city. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door – available at Merge.

*The comedy show fundraiser, in the wake of recent tragedies, will raise funds for the fall lyceum series discussion on Violence Prevention led by Dr. Carnell Cooper of the University of Maryland Medical Center set for Saturday, February 20th at The Michigan Avenue Baptist Church (511 Michigan Avenue).
