As a result of the event “United We Stand in Buffalo,” a new website for all news and information relating to the Buffalo LGBT Community has been launched.
The first page of the site provides up-to-date news and information and the Event Listing section provides information relating to events, meetings and other gatherings that LGBT citizens might find important to their needs.
In addition, one of the first things reported on the site was the installation of a Buffalo police surveillance camera on Main and Allen Streets as promised by Mayor Brown and DPW Commissioner Stepniak last week at the United We Stand in Buffalo event. The next step is the enhancement of 13 light standards along Allen Street from Delaware to Main.
Along with local and national news of interest to the LGBT community is a Donn Esmonde Buffalo News column devoted to the hate crime sentencing of Suzanne-Deanna Grover for her attack on Lindsay Harmon on New Year’s morning.
Citizens of the Buffalo, NY and Western New York area are invited to send their information, link addresses and news items for posting on the site to: unitedwestandbuffalo@live.com
