With the end of the year fast approaching it is nice to celebrate between the holidays with friends. This Saturday, December 26th, the 4th Annual Buffalo Ball will be taking place from 7 to 11PM, at Babeville at Asbury Hall.
The Buffalo Ball is a semiformal event that helps to bring people together for a night of fun. While in the spirit of giving, the money raised goes to two local deserving charities, the Transplant Miracles Foundation and the Olmsted Park Conservancy.
The Transplant Miracles Foundation helps organ recipients and their families. They offer education and support to all parties involved in organ transplants.
The Olmstead Parks Conservancy is a nonprofit community organization. The goal of the organization is to promote awareness and upkeep of the Olmsted Park System.
Last year the event rose over 15,000, which was split evenly for Angel Flight and Project Flight. Around 700 people attended and most were local residents. The event also attracted people who were in town for the holidays from around 21 different states.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $60. With admission, guests will enjoy an open bar, hors-d’oeuvres, music, dancing and the company of friends. Information on the event is available through their website.
