BRO music submission by Greg Genco:
Attention music fans, this Friday December 4th at Nobody’s Art Center (at Forest and Elmwood) promises to be an evening of unique, interesting, and moving sound waves. The event will be headlined by experimental-yet-pop-friendly sonic veteran Pam Swarts, arranging dance ready compositions from Casio keyboards.
Also on board are the ambient tones of Alfred Brown and other/other/other (from Buffalo and Rochester respectively). The city of Boston will be represented through somewhat more darker hues as Jaggery (with some accompaniment from local artist Paul Kozlowski) bring dramatic keyboard and vocal based compositions while Walter Sickert and The Army of Broken Toys will create tones akin to a “circusy gothic cabaret”. Last but certainly not least Makeshift Letterbox will play keyboards with a lot of distortion and delay.
The show is billed to start at 9 pm and end at 2 am.
Check out the MySpace pages below for song samples and hope to see you there!
