There is another new home in the works for Lincoln Parkway. Natale Builders is seeking approval to construct a single-family residence on a vacant lot at 222 Lincoln Parkway. It is unknown if the homebuilder has a buyer for the proposed home.
222 Lincoln is an 81′ x 110′ building site that was listed for sale earlier this year for $189,000. Natale purchased the property in late-August for $125,000. The planned two-story home with attached garage needs a side yard setback variance on November 18 from the Buffalo Zoning Board. A tennis court on the lot was removed by the previous owner, Emanuel Amato, of adjacent 209 Nottingham Terrace. That home is currently listed for sale with RealtyUSA with a $399,900 asking price, indoor pool included.
Natale Builders is known for its high-end homes in Clarence, Amherst, and Lancaster. But owner Angelo Natale has been fairly active in the city as of late. He is finishing a 5,200 sq.ft. custom home at the corner of Lincoln Parkway and Middlesex Road across the street from the 222 Lincoln site. That home is being built for Devin Piscitelli who paid $425,000 for his half-acre building site.
Natale also was building a home on Rumsey Lane for a property owner until a neighbor bought the partially-completed home and demolished it. The developer was also interested in creating a new neighborhood on abandoned railroad property near the LaSalle light rail station. A City-issued Request for Proposals for the site was pulled after neighbors objected and the document failed to disclose a light rail easement ran through the parcels.
