Add another logo to downtown’s skyline. Key Bank has added its name and logo to the north tower of Key Center at Fountain Plaza. The office complex, consisting of 17 and 13-story towers, is anchored by Key Bank and Delaware North Cos.

Key Center’s towers have distinctive pyramid tops that were previously trimmed with bright green neon lighting. Key Bank’s four 5′ x 42′ signs were approved by the Planning Board in July. The key logo is lit up a brilliant red in the evening.
Few downtown buildings have rooftop signage. Avant on Delaware Avenue added a south facing sign recently. M&T Center, the former Goldome, has a sign facing the Kensington Expressway ramps and HSBC has a logo on downtown’s tallest building.
Key Center is managed by the Ciminelli Group. The taller north tower opened in 1990.
