Wednesday Soups at CEPA

Slurp soup, benefit art.  This Wednesday, October 28, from noon 2PM, in CEPA’s FLUX Gallery Repair Shop in the Market Arcade at 617 Main Street, enjoy soups prepared by the
wonderful chefs from Sample and Betty’s restaurants to support CEPA’s Soup
Granting Program
.

CEPA Gallery cordially invites all downtown
employees (and anyone else who wants to stop by!) to go to CEPA Gallery for
lunch on Wednesday, October 28, from noon to 2 p.m. to support the Soup
Granting Program, a unique initiative presented in conjunction with the current
exhibition Conversation Pieces
that funds Individual Artist or
Community-Based projects.

CEPA
will be serving delicious hot soup from local restaurants Sample and Betty’s
for $5 a bowl.  This Wednesday Soup will take place in the Repair Shop,
located in CEPA’s Flux Gallery on the first floor of the Market Arcade Building
at 617 Main Street.  CEPA looks forward to welcoming hungry downtown
employees to view the exhibition and enjoy hot soup and great conversation on a
chilly autumn day, while benefitting a unique form of fundraising.  All
soups will be available “to-go,” accommodating both quick lunch pick-ups and
leisurely lunch breaks.  Quantities are limited and will be first-come,
first served!

An optional tour of the exhibition will
take place at 1:00PM with Curator, Sean Donaher.

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
