members / $275 non-members. Registration

History
is not only something we learn about or passively observe. We make history by
living our stories. Our histories, then, are the products of the stories of our
people, places, events in our lives, and times. Stories bind and connect us to
our family and community. Thus our stories, our histories, have a local meaning
and a global meaning. This workshop, Family/History, will be an opportunity for
participants to explore, through writing, aspects of their own family and
community histories, as a way of recording the local histories of our larger
stories as human beings.
