Firefighters’ Funeral

This past Friday, a funeral was held for Lt. Charles McCarthy and Firefignter Jonathan Croom who lost their lives in a fire at an East Side deli.

Anyone who ventured down Delaware Avenue in the evening last week saw the fire trucks lining the Avenue and a sea of blue uniforms in the parking lot of Amigone Funeral Home.  It was a poignant sight, Buffalo firemen paying tribute to their fallen comrades.

for the families
of McCarthy and Croom has been set up through Citizens Bank.  Donations can be made to
FAMILIES OF BUFFALO FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS McCARTHY & CROOM at any Citizens
