Bartenders: Man’s Best Friends

It’s
last call for Bobby, Amilito, Paddy, Benny, Jimmy and Eddie. The six characters
immortalized in South Buffalo born actor Lou Mustillo’s one man show BARTENDERS
end their long run by returning to The Allendale Theatre stage in on September
11th and 12th as part of Curtain Up! night.

“It’s
these guys, five years older. Same problems just a little bit older,” said
Mustillo, who will perform the play as a one-man show. Though he said this
is the last time he will perform Bartenders, he’s open to directing it with six
different actors playing each of his characters.

Mustillo,
who conceived, wrote and stars in this critically acclaimed show last
brought the off-Broadway smash to Buffalo in 2003.  Now, he says he’s
happy that the play will end its run in the city that inspired it.

Splitting
his time between New York and Manhattan, Mustillo has appeared on many
popular television shows including Without a Trace, Cold Case;
and popular soap opera, The
Young and the Restless
