Volunteer Opportunities: Everyone Has Something to Share

Travelers Insurance and United Way of Buffalo and Erie County have teamed up to garner  volunteer efforts from the community as an alternative way to help neighbors and struggling communities during these trying and harsh economic times.

Participating include the African-American Cultural Center, Be-A-Friend Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo, Buffalo Urban League, Compass House, Girl Scouts, Hearts and Hands, Hispanics United, Joan A. Male, Literacy Volunteers, Meals on Wheels, Native American Community Services, Olmsted Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County.

If you think you have something to offer, want to learn more about volunteer opportunities at any of these agencies, or for hundreds of other local volunteer opportunities, contact the Volunteer Center at 716.887.2670, or visit the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County’s website.
