With BR polling up for 2 days only, help choose the poster that will represent the A/V Swap 2009. The top four
submissions representing Buffalo are included in this post, and they’re all so good you can see why they need help deciding. The contest winner will be
sent down to Houston with a shot at representing the A/V Swap in Houston, NYC
and Austin, TX as well. The designers did a great job coming up with creative
ways to represent the event. Show them some support, and use the BRO poll to
pick your favorite.
Here is some background on the event: It creates a forum for musicians and
filmmakers to collaborate on video projects while expanding their creative
horizons. The idea is that musicians to submit a soundtrack
(without a film) and filmmakers to submit a film (without a soundtrack) to The
A/V Swap. The projects are then randomly exchanged, distributing one movie to
each musician and one soundtrack to each filmmaker. Each artist must then
complete the video projects; musicians will create a soundtrack inspired by their
newly acquired video and filmmakers create a video inspired by the audio track
that they have received.
There is still time to enter your song or video into the show. The deadline is
June 22. Find out more at A/V Swap.
