Looking for the right tools and thoughts to market your
business? Look no further! 12 Grain Studio, a firm with specialties
in web and graphic design, traditional and digital illustration and animation,
is moving downtown. The husband and wife team have an impressive list of
references and current projects that include The Artery Magazine, Eastpoint
Electric and The Rambler Magazine.
The two-person company is made up of Laura Sargent, designer and
former arts writer for Buffalo Rising, and Matt Duquette, art director and senior designer.
Their work is done from home, which means they can provide
agency quality work and satisfaction for their clients, but with freelance
pricing! You can’t do much better than that in today’s economy. The
team also puts aside a set number of hours per week to purely dedicate
themselves to not-for-profit clients.
In the Queen City, Matt and Laura are closely working with Urban Roots
in designing a whole new website to better fit their needs, working to market the garden cooperative’s unique personality.
Along with working with clients such as Urban Roots, 12 Grain
Studio knows that Buffalo is the place for them because of the thriving art
scene along with the close-knit community that makes their clients friends and neighbors,
and not just clients they are working with.
In addition to this, they
hope to team up with other local advertising agencies in order to supply the full
range of services they can provide clients and solutions in all areas.
