Thursdays are from 5pm to 9pm this year
ECHCW? What’s That?
And then there is this year’s Buffalo Rocks the Harbor. Previously these were events that took place on the grounds of Shanghai Red’s, and before that Crawdaddy’s. Then last year, the beautiful Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf rolled out (need an acronym for that one), and everybody that I talked to absolutely loved it. So much so that some folks thought that this year ALL of the Thursday concerts would go harborside. It might be a little early for that though, with suburban folks just getting used to the new ECHCF (is that even an acronym? Lets get a ruling from the acronym police). Someday perhaps…
Who would you like to see play in Buffalo next year?
The Buffalo Rocks the Harbor events this year are all consecutive day concerts, either Friday-Saturday, or Saturday-Sunday, starting at 5pm. Tickets for the weekend concerts are $10 presale, $20 day of concert. Capacity for the venue is 6,000. Music fans please do let us know (for our own curiosity) who you would like to see at Lafayette Square or at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf next year… I would really love to hear what you think!
And away we go!
Without any further ado, here is the schedule. Headliners are listed first. Thursdays unless otherwise noted. And only Thursdays are free. If you want to sample a headliner’s music, just click on the band link and you should be able to hear some of the band’s selections. Enjoy. I hope to see you out there!
