Tonight’s Gusto at the Gallery

Weekly Gusto at the Gallery goers can look forward to a variety of
entertainment tonight, including art activities for all, rare Mickey Mouse art,
an April Fool’s tour and a performance from the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus at the Albright-Knox.

The evening begins at 5PM with an art activity in education
classroom 1 that is open to all ages. Also beginning at
5PM and on display until 10PM in Clifton Hall are the original
“Plane Crazy” storyboards by Ub Iwerks and storyboard art for the very first
Mickey Mouse cartoon, which is the rarest Walt Disney artwork in existence.

Just a little later on at 6PM, an April Fool’s tour will be given
Curator of Education Nancy Spector. The tour will explore how artists sometimes
manage to fool their audience, as well as teaching the group how they can do
this themselves. Pre-registration is required by phone at 716.270.8296.

Finally to wrap the night, the Buffalo Gay
Men’s Chorus will perform
under the direction of the Barbara Wagner at 8PM.

The Gusto at the Gallery is a free weekly event at the Albright-Knox (1285 Elmwood Avenue).
